Nicholas Hamilton opened up about his coming-out story during an interview with Stay Vibrant magazine on January 18, 2021.

The interviewer asked what it was like to embrace his orientation in front of his parents and the public eye.

He is most commonly known for his portrayal of Henry Bowers in IT (2017), based on the acclaimed Stephen King novel, and also appears in Stephen King's The Dark Tower, starring Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba. He noted that the passing of his uncle due to cancer in 2011 was the beginning of his acting career, stating: “I knew I had to pursue acting for him.”
