Last month, lyrics from Tyler, the Creator's latest album Flower Boy led people to speculate about the sexuality of the Odd Future leader.

Hopefully people will see celebrities, like Carter, Makonnen, and Bennett, be open and honest about their sexuality, and it will lead others to do the same without fear of being judged.

Aaron Carter opened up late Saturday about his sexuality, revealing that he is attracted to both men and women.

The singer, who had early success with hits like “I Want Candy” and “Aaron’s Party,” said on Twitter: “There’s something I’d like to say that I feel is important for myself and my identity that has been weighing on my chest for nearly half of my life.”

Carter, 29, wrote: ‘When I was around 13-years-old I started to find boys and girls attractive.”

He said when he was 17 he had “an experience with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with.”

Carter said being bisexual “doesn’t bring me shame” and said keeping his secret was “a weight and burden.”

The pop star ended his message by quoting Boy George.

I want kids so bad,” the former teen idol told Us Weekly.

“I turned 30 and I’m like, ‘Alright, my resolution is to have a kid.’ But not just a kid. “My goal is to be the phoenix that rises from the ashes,” he said. "I grew up in this entertainment industry at a very young age and when I was 13 years old I started to find boys and girls attractive."

Carter goes to reflect on his past relationships, including his first "experience" with a man he worked and grew up with.

Carter responded to the outpouring of love and support since coming out as bisexual.

“Who knows what the future has to bring, whether it’s a relationship with a guy, I don’t have a problem with that.

But it has to be [with] the right person,” he added.

“My goal is to be a father. He even released a new song, “(Don’t) Say Goodbye,” which will be included on his new album, LøVë.

Aaron Carter Comes Out as Bisexual in Heartfelt Message

Aaron Carter posted a lengthy, heartfelt message on social media Saturday night where he came out as bisexual.

"This doesn't bring me shame, just a weight and burden I have held onto for a long time that I would like lifted off of me," Carter wrote.

A beautiful woman or man, because we can have kids too. I really want to be a dad and I want to transcend any of the shortcomings that my parents experienced growing up with us,” he said.

Carter recently turned 30, an age he thought he wouldn’t ever reach.

“I thought I would die by 30,” he told said.

After coming out as bisexual earlier this year, the 30-year-old singer candidly discussed his sexuality and the freedom he now feels.

“I’m just still confused about it…about bisexuality,” Carter admitted in an interview on the LGBTQ&A podcast this week. He was released after two months in November.

“Life, it was pretty tough,” Carter said.

“I definitely embrace my bisexuality and, you know, it’s still new to me.”

“I just started talking about it, really. During last year’s U.S. election, he tweeted: “If Donald Trump doesn’t support the LGBT community I’m not voting for him.”

He has been touring in support of his EP LØVË. “I’ve never felt as though I didn’t belong, I just acted as if I did.”

Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boys’ member Nick Carter, has publicly supported the LGBT community in the past.

Aaron Carter says he’s ready to have a relationship with a man. Then in September, Carter caused a scare when police rushed to his home after a strange phone call.

The singer, who is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, also went to rehab for drug abuse.

I just felt like I needed to get away.”

Carter said he’s recharged after the rehab stint. “Even when I was 13, 14, I thought, ‘Oh, my God. I’m going to die.’ “

Carter went into a downward spiral this past summer, following the death of his father, Bob Carter, in May. In July, he was arrested for DUI and marijuana possession, and authorities filed new charges related to the arrest last month.

It’s something that I’ve already thought about for the album after this one.
