Local chef Nikeisah Newton started a food delivery service for sex workers called Meals 4 Heels in 2019, inspired by her former dancer girlfriend's need for nourishing food after her late-night shifts. It's a breath of fresh air—literally—in the heart of the city to tranquil moments at the Portland Japanese Garden, LGBTQ+ travelers can immerse themselves in the serenity of the Pacific Northwest.
