The Bristol is a gay-friendly San Diego hotel, located just blocks away from the city's exciting Gas Lamp District. Deals can also be found both online and at the hotels themselves, which allow discounted entrance to all the main tourist attractions. The Tower23 is on the coast just like the Bahia Resort Hotel, but it is located a little bit more to the north than most of the other hotels on this list, and therefore it grants access to a whole new world of exotic restaurants, bars, clubs, and much, much more. 

Nearly all establishments near Tower 23 Hotel are set directly upon the wonderful waterfront, meaning they can capitalize upon the beautiful view to a tee.

Although there are no specifically gay hotels in San Diego, there are many hotels that go out of their way to be LGBTQ+ friendly, most in the downtown area.

Hotel del Coronado – This resort on Coronado Beach is an integral part of San Diego’s history.

Proudly bearing four stars and sky-high review ratings, The Sofia Hotel is an excellent middle-budget start to this list and delivers upon more than comfortability and convenience.

It’s open 24 hours and has a steam room, dry sauna, “Bliss Spa” Jacuzzi, a cinema room, private rooms, and a dungeon sporting two slings. In short, it's sold as Californian at its finest with just a hint of Mexican culture. After all, when one browses beachside properties, this is often the first thing we think about. The area is split into two parts by the 163 freeway, but you can easily cross between the two via a bridge over the freeway.
